Reina Ishikawa is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Keio University, under the supervision of Professor Hideo Saito. She is also a Research Associate (fixed-term, research incentive) at the university. Reina received her M.Sc. in Science and Technology from Keio University in 2023, where she mainly focused on two topics: soft object manipulation for arm robots and machine learning, and novel view synthesis using a focal stack for virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) applications. After completing her master’s degree, she worked as an anime and game marketer at GREE Entertainment, Inc. in Japan from April 2023 to December 2023. Building upon this industry experience, Reina is pursuing her Ph.D. research, which focuses on “Assistance in Anime Production Using Generative AI.”
